The Simple Joys

The last few nights have been filled with some pretty intense dreaming. First there was the dream about the furniture leg floating down the Ohanapecosh River. Then the lunar eclipse made from pieces of my photography and artwork. The dream about the haunted restaurant where I awoke, mouthing, "Who are you?" A declaration of my place as a teacher, helping others find their own path. Then a workshop on the construction of reality and how all of the different pieces fit together.
I awoke this morning, not remembering a single dream, but actually smiling. I have no idea what put the smile on my face even before my eyes opened. Maybe it was some forgotten dream. Maybe it was a two hour phone conversation with a friend who I had dearly missed. Whatever the reason, the theme of the morning was peaceful joy.
Not a bad way to start your day.
